I liked all the features of this coat. The fit which allowed enough room for a sweater. The 2 way zipper. The waist draw string. However it arrived with a slit on the front chest area. It should have never been sent out. Now they are out of stock for the black large. Very disappointed.

Love, love love this coat! Super light weight yet super warm!!! Plenty of room to wear a bulky sweatshirt underneath and not feel too tight. Love the velcro cuffs, inner drawstring waist and length.

Overall, I am very pleased with this coat! It is warm, but that is relative to living in North Carolina. The color is more slate blue than baby blue. Nice features. I do recommend this coat!

Love this coat. It's light weight, but so warm. Roomy for extra layers if needed. The tall length is a good fit.

I love Eddie Bauer jackets. This is my 5th and they are always true to size, I am consistently an XS. This parka is nice because it's lightweight but warm, has a streamline look.

I am elderly and this is my 'get the mail' coat. I can't believe how warm it is. The coat blocks the wind and would be slightly waterproof. Deep pockets keep my hands warm. The double zipper makes walking easier. For reference, I am 5'2" and 120lbs.

I bought this coat to wear while birding along the seacoast in winter and it's perfect. It's lightweight and roomy so I can wear a layer under it when needed. It stands alone in temps of freezing and above. It cuts the wind around the tush and legs. I appreciate the hood not having fur, which I always find annoying in cold weather. The elastic cinch at the waist and Velcro at the cuffs allow for adjustment. Just be mindful that the down rating is only 550, which is not that high, but it allows for lighter weight in a longer parka.

I like it for waking in cold weather.

Cold weather walking coat on mostly dry days

So I found this coat on the clearance rack at my local EB outlet. I really wasn't in the market for another black down coat, but I have always wanted a longer coat, so I decided to try it on and instantly fell in love. It's VERY warm but also pretty lightweight. I love that it has Velcro adjustable and partially elasticized cuffs, a removable hood, and even an adjustable elastic pull in the waist, making it quite versatile. To be honest, I wasn't in love with the longer-in-back look, but I've found it comes in handy when sitting outside to help keep your tush warm, and I think the slightly shorter length in front might allow for longer strides when walking. Would I rather it were all one length? Maybe, but I'm good with it. Overall I am very, very happy that I purchased this and expect to wear it for many years to come.

I bought this jacket a couple of months ago. We live in the mountains and this jacket has kept me warm in freezing temps. I love the look and comfort of this jacket. I would highly recommend it!

I mainly purchased this for a trip to South Korea this upcoming winter. I'll maybe get to wear it here in south Texas, only a handful of times during the season. I love that it's roomy and will allow for layers underneath. You can also cinch it in the waist, very flattering! I also love that it has a removable hood, something that was a must! I've been an EB customer for years and knew I couldn't go wrong with this coat.

Warm and close fitting. Awkwardly deep side pockets mean your phone can inhibit your stride.

Returned from the south so bought 3 coats and then his one feels a bit larger than the other two. This will work over a layer or two. Nice coat. I returned one coat as it was more/warmer than I will ever need. Easy return.

I like the fit and color. I got the green. It's a lighter weight parka for the warmth it gives, but down feathers started leaking out of the seams after wearing it a few times.

This coat does run big in the sleeves and body but the shoulders are normal EB size.

For my height of 5'5", this coat was too long for what I wanted and will be returning. Also, the small was too large and the back of the coat that dips down quite a bit lower than the front hits the back of my knees when walking, which was disappointing. I purchased this coat because I travel to Michigan frequently and needed something warmer and a little longer than the jacket I have. This was also the only coat with a removable hood which is a must for me. The feel of the coat, however, was very nice and the fleece lined collar was a nice addition. So sorry to have to return.

Great coat, fits well. I usually buy Medium - the medium fits. 5'-4", 130#, 33x29x39, 32D. Pear shape. The pockets are nicely proportioned so you can put a pair of gloves in them and not have them fall out. Ditto phone. The length is long enough that I can wear it to an outdoor event and legs and butt stay warm. The problem is the color. I love purple, and when I opened this package it was a huge disappointment. The color is not aubergine. It's leaning too far into the brown portion of aubergine, and forgot to add the purple tones. Every time I open the closet, I grab my old ratty coat instead of the new one because the new one is just such a icky shade that it curdles my breakfast. Sadly, its going to go back.
