Size 7m purchased, can always depend on same fit. I walk mostly on pavement so durability of this shoe is important.Nice wide toe box.

Very comfortable and supportive hiking shoe. I wear 8.5 or 9. Fit model suggested a 9, which I purchased. Fit is very good. Got them in a great sale. Nice looking. I pair with jeans, cords, and leather pants.

Hiked the Inca Trail in these - not a blister and my feet never felt sore or tired. I use a small Dr Scholl's insert for arch and heel support. I'm a 10 or 10.5 in running shoes and 10 fits perfectly.

Fits a little larger but very comfortable. I wear a 7.5 but have shoe inserts so sometimes I need a size 8. I bought a size 8 and 7.5 and kept the 7.5 because they fit loosely enough to support the inserts comfortably. I gave these shoes 4 stars because they are rigid.

Although the side clips are turning upward because I may pull laces too strong, they are cozy, warm and water proof.

These shoes saved my bacon at the Valley OF Fire park in Nevada this past December. It was a pretty strenuous hike. The shoes are padded, contoured, gripping, and kept my ankles from rolling. At the end of the day my feet felt good after all the climbing/hiking/walking. Not only that, but they truly are waterproof. I love my shoes. I AM SO PLEASED. They are probably some of the Very Best shoes I have ever had. 😍 I got them on deep discount because they had been hanging around in their inventory for a long time. Eddie Bauer should continue to offer these through the seasons. Amazing shoes! I can't thank you enough.

This is the second pair of these I've purchased. Now have them in grey and blue. Wear them mostly in the fall/winter months for running errands or walking the dog. A bit narrow when wearing thicker socks, but I just open the laces wider. Love them!

I am elderly and have poor balance. These shoes are just perfect--well balanced and with soles that really grip the pavement

Runs small. I wear 8 1/2. I ordered a 9 and still they fitted tight alittle bit. The boots are great!!! Just Runs Smaller.

Bought these for my wife because her previous trail/hiking shoes were starting to fall apart. She really likes the thick and grippy outer sole and the fact that they are waterproof. She also says the shoes are very comfortable, even on uneven and rocky terrain.

i have a handful of foot issues and my orthotics fit in these real well. i hope these last me but shoes that are not smooth, (like these ) with all the sewn together peices seem to pullaway for me at the seams. we"ll see, time will tell. the color is just great, nice comfort and firm supportive sole for rocks and stone grip.

I bought these to wear for a vacation (safari) and they did not disappoint. They fit true to size and were comfortable all day (some days I wore them over 18 hours straight). I loved them enough I bought a second pair. They held up to the dirt and dust of safari vehicles a d walks and since they are waterproof they were easy to clean. I even wore them for the 23 hours of flights we had and my feet were happy.

I bought these shoes for a trip to Alaska. I was looking for a waterproof hiking shoe that was also nice looking. These shoes fit the bill. I had tried and returned two other brands (Dansko & Columbia) because the fit was "off" and the shoes were too wide. The Eddie Bauer brand fit true to size, were comfortable while walking all day and stayed dry in rainy conditions. I also like the color combo of gray/turquoise.

These fit true to size and are very comfortable. I got the Creek (dark blue-green) color and they are a great color match to my Peacock colored E.B. microtherm 2.0 down jacket.

I walk for work, 6 to 10 miles per day. Typically the terrain is suburban but also trails. These shoes do a great job of providing comfort and support. I only wish they lasted longer. : )

I wanted a waterproof pair of shoes for my walks with my dog and these fit the bill...especially at the great sale price! They are very comfortable and look well made, like they will last a long time. The green color is nice and I liked it in person more than in the pictures. It's a nice deep, rich color. I wear a size 8, and these run straight up true to size. This was definitely a good purchase!
