Like the extra cushioning. Had read in other reviews that straps are large & uncomfortable, agree, but if you like the extra cushioning, you can adapt. Would like to see follow up models with narrower straps.

These flip flops are comfortable with a nice soft layer of foam on the bottom. I have high arches so I appreciate these as my other pair of flip flops are like walking on boards compared to these.

The straps are broader that the usual flip-flops, but not uncomfortable. My feet quickly adapted, and now I wear them all the time. The padding is the best I've ever felt, giving comfort to my feet on the hard floors in my home. A great purchase!

Like many Eddie Bauer products, these sandals are a great value when deeply discounted, but there are probably better options at full price. I purchased them aware of the other reviews about how they're uncomfortable and caused rubbing. This was my experience too, but but only for a short while as they became much more comfortable after a few wears. I've since worn them for a full day spent on my feet on vacation without any discomfort. They're a nice upgrade over the already good point break sandals - plenty of cushion and support in the soles and a secure fit. Still, only 4/5 stars because of the needed break-in period.

Sorry guys, these are not comfortable. The hard rubber support strap does not give, and caused me blisters on toes and mid-foot where it met the strap. After two days I found them to be unwearable.

I wear them on my feet, as designed for. Feel to narrow and the webbing is rough feeling.

These are not comfortable

the wide construction of the strap bites into the second toe when walking. It literally tore the skin on my toe. Test these by walking around for a 10 minutes or so. That's all it took, after they initially felt comfortable.
