I use this bag as my air travel personal item along side the matching EB roller bag. Together I think the two are just enough for up to a week's travel. I use it to carry my laptop, accessories and maybe some clothing items. The bag is comfortable on its own but I really like sliding it over the roller bag's handle when walking through an airport. My only criticism is that the only color available is black and the only color the matching series's roller bag is black. EB needs to introduce some accents colors at the very least. Oh, and food for thought for the EB designers.., a real leather version may be worth an investment.

This is the perfect carry-on as well as hiking backpack that I was looking for. Great organization, quality, zippers and straps and looks great. I've tried many other packs for dual use and they don't have all the features of this pack. The only downside is the water bottle holder could be slightly larger, but it does fit a standard size bottle.

Used for commuting on a bike in the city. Support and comfort where needed.

This is the perfect size for travel. I am petite and like to travel light only with carryon. This pack fits the bill perfectly. The color pale pink is absolutely lovely.

This is a nice little daypack that I use to commute in DC. After using your average 30L backpack, I noticed I seldom pack it full or have anything else at all besides my laptop and peripherals. It's awkward when the bag is too empty and light so I tried a smaller pack. It's perfect, especially on sale. It's compact and fits the essentials but I can still stuff a jacket and hat in it for those cold-in-the-morning-hot-in-the-afternoon months. I like that the front zipper (not the laptop compartment) still functions as a compartment albeit a shallow one. No outer pockets on the front is a sleek change of pace that makes me feel the pack is more secure overall. Straps are fine. Top pocket and two bottle holders are convenient. Seems durable enough. It's not your lightest pack but also not the heaviest; I'd use it on a hike.

I got this on sale because I needed a bag for travel. I like the pockets it has to keep everything organized and the sleek look. The back is quite rigid which is good for a study structure, but makes it a little harder to fit underseat as a carry on item for a plane ride. Love the pink color.

This backpack will be perfect for traveling and hiking. It is slightly smaller than a lot of backpacks which is why I like it so much. The quality is exceptional.

Bought this backpack for a trip that I am currently on. It's a companion piece to the Carry-on spinner. LOTS of storage space for an underseat flight option (but don't overstuff the outer compartment)! Padded laptop section was perfect for my MS Surface Studio Laptop and could definitely handle a larger laptop. Also has a "pad" sleeve. YKK zips, main laptop compartment is TSA lockable with either padlock or wire lock (not included). Looks nice and professional with subtle logo, black on black. It's a winner for me!

This Bag is Great! Room For LapTop and Ipad. Material is Strong and Takes a Beating Weather Resistant. Just took it to Minnesota Paired With The Larger Duffle and 22l Suitcase. Was great and easily packed. I Reccomend this as your daily bag and as a travel bag when paired with its cousins.

I compared a bunch of bags before purchasing this one. I've loved Eddie Bauer for the longevity of the products and the adaptability of the product from day-to-day travel to long-distance. I bought this because I will start commuting by bike again for the first in 3 years. I need to protect my 15" laptop and mouse, sometimes my iPad mini, my lunch, reusable water bottle, chapstick, wallet, snacks, and whatever other odds and ends. It fits everything! It's only about a 2 mile ride but there are always random downpours where I live. I haven't been caught in the rain yet, but I feel good about the outer material and the placement of the zippers. I like the pink color b/c I want to be visible while biking in the evening. I also like the size for my frame. I like the keyhole-pull details of the outer zippers so that you're not fumbling to get it open. The texture of the base sorta feels like rubber so I'm comfortable setting it on the ground. The carry handle at the top is thick, wide, and strong. I like that there are 2 water bottle pockets, inner pockets - one with a zipper, and the mini top pocket for smaller, quick grab items. I wish there were obvious reflectors on the sides and front of the bag. It'd be nice if the bag came with a backpack cover but probably not absolutely necessary.

Excellent backpack! I use it for day hikes and day trips with my family. The backpack fits all our items from baby wipes to sweatshirts and water bottles. The exterior is easy to clean and the backpack fits well. I highly recommend the item!

Yes, I work for EB and also, it's been awhile since I've needed to buy a pack. Turns out, I gifted all of the ones I owned. So I bought this one for a recent trip and because trips to the office are more frequent now. I LOVE IT. I love the fit, it looks stylish and current and it holds all of my things effortlessly. Even packed full, it's well balanced and comfortable. I can't believe I haven't purchased this in the past. What a great pack.
