Works as intended, love the yellow color!

I bought these for my kids and I was kind of hesitant because of some negative reviews about them that staying locked and I believe that it's user error because as soon as they took it out of the package, they turned it the wrong way and it seemed like it wasn't going to work But we pushed it all the way in and then turned it the correct direction which it screwed itself back into the mechanism inside and they worked just fine. I noticed several reviews said that they come detached from the mechanism and quit working and I think that's all you have to do is push it all the way up inside, but they should design it where it can't come off the screw inside for people that are not mechanically inclined I'm sure it would be difficult to get them working again

We have used it for hiking and it's a good support.

Used them for 5 consecutive days across all buildings and levels of McCormick Place 4 weeks after knee surgery. Never would have made it without them. Sold at least 3 pair, advising to tighten them before/during/after each use. No problems. And they fit well in carryon luggage. The bit that sticks out goes to the back of the overhead, once they are fully compressed (in an EB lightweight, small foldable backpack) 😊

Edgerton at the University Village had me purchase better walking poles. They are working just fine. I suggest you r return to quality products that Eddie Bauer started with and developed a fine repuration.in this field.

Bought these to help feet/knees while hiking---YES, knees feel great. I noticed some hotspots on the web between my thumb and first finger from the rubber grip, no blisters but had to adjust hold.

This is my second set. After 7 yrs of retired hiking I decided having a 2nd pair was a good idea. I like the fact you can adjust the pole length and the built in shock absorber is handier than I expected.They are light weight and can be broken down for packing in your luggage.

I use one as a walking stick and save the other as a spare.

These are well designed, with comfortable hand grips and adjustable straps. Not lightweight but sturdy construction and easy to adjust the lengths for proper fit. The yellow color I purchased made them nicely visible!

I bought these as a gift for my sister. Sometimes when it does snow she was walking to the store using an umbrella for balance. She loved the gift and uses them when she goes for walks. The turqouise color is great and the price was excellent.

These poles give me just the little bit of stability I need. I used these to navigate rocky sections of trail and I found them to be very effective.

Bought these because my son (6) kept wanting to use my wife's trekking poles when we went hiking. He uses one and I use one. I'm 6' tall with long legs so I tend to need a longer pole. It comfortably and easily adjusts to fit both me and my son. The grip isn't too big for him either. I've never really cared about getting ultra light weight gear and sturdy construction is certainly more important considering this will be used by a child. I wanted something that would stand up to the beating he's sure to put it through and these do not disappoint. Slight ding on the rating because the twist locks have a bit of clicky/binding feeling that isn't quite smooth. I've always preferred handles with cork or foam but these rubber ones do a surprising job of not getting sweaty and I haven't gotten any hot spots even after miles of use at a time. Considering I got these on sale for less than $30 the value is outstanding.

Love that they are adjustable, so others can use them. Have also used the snow baskets this winter, they worked great in the snow.
