All the specs of shell pants costing 3x as much!

More driven by function as a versatile and functional for skiing here in Tahoe. These shell pants check every box including the waterproof rating, pockets. Also love the color selection.

Leg openings very large - loose fit overall Nice pockets I like the fabric and the contrast of black and gray It would have been nice to have a key ring retainer in one of the pockets

Three stars for material and color. These pants fit well around the waist, but they get very baggy below the knees, and they have an exaggerated bootcut flare opening at the bottom.

    Feb 5, 2024

Hello, first let me say I was a ski clothing buyer for 35 years so I know my stuff. I had written to you guys for a few years hoping you would come out with a 20/20 waterproofing waist high pant. So, I was looking forward to the pant for inclement weather days on the hill. Unfortunately, the pant was way off on fit. I have 3 other ski pants from you that fit perfect. Found the pant baggie and long. Think the waist need to have elastic for a snugger fit. Admittingly, I am 6 feet but with only a 32 inch inseam although I am fine with the other pants I have. The pant was way too long. A ski boot buckle would eventually do a number on the cuff. I did have to return the pant to the outlet in Manchester, Vermont. On another note, the woman working that day made it clear that she was not pleased to do the return. She started showing me other pants in stock. I tried to explain the differences in waterproofing as she had NO CLUE. She made it clear she wasn't interested in a bit of knowledge. Seems to me at the least employees should know what's REALLY waterproof and what is to just a point. Hope this helps.

    Almost good
    Jan 5, 2024

Almost a very good product. The legs are too wide at the bottom without a way to open them or cinch them tighter. Otherwise a very nice product. I may return these.

Too Tight in the waist too long in the legs too baggy in the legs. Couldn't feel any kind of stretch material. Returned for a refund.

Too wide in the boot area
    Jan 13, 2024

Like others said, these are too wide cut. The boot area is more of a bell bottom and the pants flare out to wide. They look awkward because of this. Nice material though with the bad look and fit I am returning these.

Boot cut or the liberty bell?
    Dec 5, 2023

I understand leg openings being wide enough to go over boots. But one leg opening should not be able to go over two boots. These cuffs are massive, quite literally as wide as the thighs. There's no need for that. They looked terrible. Like I was wearing my dad's suit to the homecoming dance. Pros the materiel is fantastic. There's not enough non insulated pants out there. These were perfect in that aspect. That's what got stars, nothing else.

Item looked like it was a return
    Nov 21, 2024

I'm a big fan of Eddie Bauer but I was extremely disappointed with these ski pants. All the tags were missing upon delivery. The only tag on the item as a handwritten serial number. The zippers were already undone and it appeared to be wear and tare on the pants. When I returned them to a shop, three people looked at them because they looked already worn. But when they verified the ship date and I told them the item was received by me the day before, they accepted the return. Its a shame that Eddie Bauer would sell a used item as new.
