Paired with the grid fleece hoodie is perfect layering and warm. I have size large and in a pinch the Xl comes out of the pack and fits over all for in extreme cold. Feather light weight. With movement it gets hot quickly. Packs up small. Not a bulky fit but surprisingly warm. Love it bought 3 and regularly with no issues. I wouldn't trail-blaze through brush without a hard shell covering it to the protect its shell.

I purchased my wife and I this jacket 5 years ago. Have worn it in all kinds of weather in central MO. Very warm and lightweight. Purchased a new one after my wife's jacket started tearing along the zippered pockets and losing filling. She wanted the same jacket again and was fortunate to find the same jacket still available. My jacket has held up very well. No problems with it at all.

This thing is perfect. Lightweight but doesn't skimp on the cold protection. I've had one for 7 years and now I need to buy another because I have kids and they got it all gross.

I 've worn this jacket, with appropriate underlayers, on all but the coldest days in MN for the last two years. It is still in great shape and I look forward to putting it on every time.

I found this jacket at one of the retail stores where they were closing them out. I like this jacket so much, I have three of them. I much prefer this design compared to the new products.

This is the best jacket I own. I walk 5 km every day and this with only a felt wool vest and fleece shirt keeps me warm to -18 Celsius. I have not worn my parka yet for walks in our cold Canadian winter.

My son wears the coat daily. The goal was daily wear, or as an underlayer for skiing or hiking or to wear as an outer layer.

This is my 3rd jacket doing a lot of hiking/camping and traveling, I buy a new one every other year. They are very light weight and comfortable. Works in just about any cool to cold conditions. When it gets really cold, I just wear a base layer underneath. Takes up no space at the bottom of the pack.

Very thin but warm jacket. Doesn't look like a down jacket, but it's so thin it fits under any of my shells. I use it as mid-layer, although it works well when it does get wet. My favorite for 2.5 yrs

I've had this jacket for four years and enjoy wearing it for weeks every fall and some in spring. It is versatile, handles many temps even down to the 20s and is very functional. Well designed. Tall Fits great. Fine quality.

This is an excellent product. I've worn it in temperatures below zero and it's very comfortable. I've had it for a little over two years and it is finally losing it's water resistance, which is to be expected. This is not a flaw.

I bought a red one two years ago for winter day hikes and it has held up very well. Surprisingly warm for how light and thin it is, truly an active winter jacket. When I saw the teal one come up at a heavily reduced price, I couldn't help but snag one. Didn't need it but you know how it is when you really like something; better get a second one in case they discontinue/change the style. I am a shade under 6' tall and weight 200 lbs, the fit is perfect with one light layer and one medium layer underneath. I wear a Cold Gear Moc base layer and a Saucony merino wool 1/2 zip mid layer and with this jacket I am comfortable into the 20's all day easily. I've hiked 200-300 miles with a day pack over this jacket and the jacket doesn't seem to mind it all. More durable and warm than it looks.

The Eddie Bauer EVERTHERM are the "go-to" jacket for all outdoor use.. A great innovation and award winner! Chief feature is excellent combination of light weight/low bulk and surprising warmth. I have used these introduction, have one of every color produced, and purchased for friends and all family members. Everyone is enthusiastic with the lightness of weight, low bulk, and amazing warmth. Many. say it is the only jacket they wear. PLUS - - THEY FIT READILY IN THEIR OWN POCKET OR SMALL STUFF SACK! My strong suggestion is that EB continue to offer this jacket in a variety of colors (including tan) for BOTH men and women. (My daughters love the "small men's" that I have given them. PLEASE KEEP EVERTHERM IN YOUR PRODUCT LINE. IT IS A WINNER ALL AROUND!

I really like this jacket but would prefer it with a more universal fit. If the fit is tight, the taped seams can come apart. That being said, the product is GREAT in terms of weight and warmth. I would suggest also a variation in a slightly heavier jacket, instead of the 30 g filling to offer a 40 g or a 50 gram options.

This is very nice jacket and it is well done. Materials they used are super soft and comfortable, but that makes this jacket a Street jacket, because if you are hiking with this jacket, first tree branch that touch it will rip it wide open. This jacket is 3 season jacket and if you live in colder climate like I do (Chicago) in the middle of the winter you will be a real Superman to wear this jacket with nothing over it. It could serve well as a mid layer, but whoever projected this jacket to be good to Minus 15 F is either high on something or the toughest guy in the world. Overall, this is one very nice jacket made for 3 seasons. I am 6 ft 6 and 220 Lbs, my shirt sleeves are 37 and this jacket fits me well, with plenty of room to wear a thick sweaters underneath.

Bought this jacket because I'll be doing the Manaslu Circuit in Nepal; I wanted something light for travel but that could keep me warm at high altitude. I went by the temperature rating and video (!). Have tested it on cold days here in Ontario (-16C today) with just a t-shirt and thin second layer, it has kept me comfortable, which was a pleasant surprise. I get Raynaud's so it's important I stay warm. I didn't really believe something as thin and light could do that. My only complaint is that the website doesn't have an easy option to show outerwear by their temperature ratings - that would have made searching so much easier. I mean, it's not easy to figure out the differences between evertherm, microtherm, downlight, ignite light, etc.

Love this jacket. Warm, stylish, super lightweight. Zippers could be more hefty as I feel they may not last as long as the jacket othwerwise would, but so far so good.

This is a very nice portable, warm jacket. I bought this to where during a trip to New York City in December. With temperatures in the low 40s, I was able to wear only this jacket over a base layer t-shirt and a long sleeve button up shirt. The jacket performed well repelling rain and blocking the wind as well as keeping you warm. Jacket was also very easy to fold down and throw in my backpack while traveling on the plane. I live in the south central part of the US and plan to wear this jacket as my primary winter jacket. If temperatures got down into the low 30s or 20's, I would probably want something heavier,

I've been using this bike commuting in a The low 40s wearing a single t-shirt underneath. It's very comfortable, partly from the insulation, partly from the wind resistance. I'm used to wearing a two-layer setup, light fleece with a thinsulate outer layer that has fleece side vents. I will invariably get warm even at 40°, and the more layers or weight the harder it is to cool off. What's nice with this is that I can unzip on top and air rushes in. ahhh! Tonight I noticed that my glove fingers were cold and yet my upper body very comfortable with just this jacket. In short, the tech hype you get for this is actually correct. Incredible warmth for the size and weight.

Excellent jacket. Warm, especially for its weight and loft, not bulky, fits well, looks sharp, and will layer well under my ski shell. Really impressed with how warm it is. It'll get a lot of use.
