I went up one size on these for a looser fit but I wouldn't of had to. They are very comfortable and I like the longer length.

I love these shorts? tights? Not sure what to call them , but the style is wonderful.I have long legs and the shorts just cover my knees. The shorts are very comfortable and flattering. the fabric is strong, but not heavy and is very stretchy. The high rise waist is comfortable and doesn't roll. Suggestion-add another zippered pocket on the right side and make pockets larger.

I decided to buy a second pair so I now have both colors offered bc they are very flattering on me. My thighs look firm & young in them (I'm 68) and no one has to see my spider veins. They end just at bottom of my knees. The green is very nice - a deeper sage color than it appeared on website; not medium green but a bit darker. They are very comfortable. The small fit well enough with a bit of room in waist & hips so I can roll down if desired. My dimensions are: 28" waist, 36" across rear. I considered trying an XS but figured they might be uncomfortably tight.

The trail high rise knee shorts are so comfortable. I am long waisted and they do come up to my waist. They look great with a T-shirt or a longer blouse and lug sandals.

My full-length yoga leggings had become too hot to wear to my morning pilates class (yes, even though class is at 6 am, thank-you-ever-so-much-texas) so I was pretty desperate to find some cropped length leggings that would suit me. I've worn these twice now to my pilates class and I'm very happy. The material is sturdy but not too thick or hot, and I know I could happily walk or bike any reasonable distance in the heat (maybe happily is a strong word, considering Austin summers, but it's at least doable). The waist holds up firmly around my tummy but doesn't cinch, and the color is as pictured. I was a little concerned about the small zippy pockets on each thigh, but this morning they had us lying on our side to do horizontal crunches and I didn't even remember they were there, so they're inobtrusive enough. Very happy with my purchase.

These shorts are long, as shown in the photos, and fit almost like leggings. They are very flattering, not too tight, very comfortable. They're comfortable enough to hike, lounge, or sleep in, but nice enough to wear to town for shopping. I wasn't sure about ordering them but I think I'll be wearing them often.

I have these shorts in black and green. They are great for hiking or casual wear. My only complaint is there are not more colors. These are the same two colors for the last two years. Would love to get these shorts in blue.

I love these shorts! since I am tall the knee length is works for me. I like comfort and style and these shorts answer both! I wear them to yoga, but I also intend to wear them for walking and will take them on vacation. I was happy to get them on sale as well. A key summer piece. Highly recommend!

Always loved this product & delighted that I see that it's quality has not diminished …note… haven't yet washed. Have always wished that it was also made with option of a slightly lighter fabric for the warmest of warm days & that it also came in tall for a little more length. So I'm 5' 6", 135 lbs , 36" hips ,321/2 waist. Fits ok but just makes it with waist comfort. Swear the waist is smaller than past purchases. ! Couldn't be me.. right???

Love the length of these shorts. For reference, I wear between a 6 and an 8 in Talbots pants. I bought a medium. They fit except the waist is just a tad, maybe a 1/4 of an inch, too big, just a very small gap. I'm keeping them because I like longer shorts for hiking and biking. They are tight enough thru the hips and legs that they aren't going anywhere but I do wish the waist was just a bit smaller. A small would be well too small.

The pocket is too small and the zipper makes it difficult it put a phone in the pocket. I have a folding phone, so my phone isn't as large as most people's and I still have an issue with this. Add a second pocket without a zipper and make it larger, then it's perfect. They used to make this, but this is the "new" version and it's not as good.

Definitely more green than the taupe that's pictured, but everything else about them is just as expected! Great fit and support, easy-to-use zipper pockets, and more.

I have been purchasing this product for a number of years. They had become my favourite & previous to this year the fabric was sturdy & supportive. I ordered 2 pair this year & returned them because the fabric is different & the quality is just not there. Very disappointed as these were my go to short for every activity.
