Solid pants for work or the wilderness.

I wear these pants for work. I install hardwood floors. The fit is relaxed which makes a long day tolerable. Fabric is different from the original fire hose but still respectably tough.

    Everyday work pant
    Feb 5, 2024

Comfortable pants the look like they will stand-up to the everyday wear and tear that I put my pants through. The only recommendation would be that the back pockets have a closure to make them a bit more secure.

    Thoughtful design and quality execution

Subtle design decisions reflect insights into use when working. Extra pockets are easy to access but don't bulge or have dangling flaps. They are comfortable, attractive and durable.

I love these pants! I wear them for work and they are very comfortable. I wish there were more secured pockets than open pockets.

Why did you discontinue the Guide Pro Work Pant?
    Dec 31, 2024

EB discontinued the best work pant on the market because y'all are out of touch with your customers. The Guide Pro Work Pant had no equal, but I guess too many real men were buying your pants and you had to put a stop to that. Who is running this company any more?

Stretch make these comfortable even though the fabric is quite thick. Easier to put things in the left pocket that has a flap than I thought it would be. Won't know about durability for a while.

I prefer the old Capacitor Flex Canvas Work Pant.
    Sep 18, 2024

The old Capacitor Flex Canvas Work Pants fit a little bit more snug in the thighs, but was still pretty relaxed after wearing for a few hours (stretched out). The new ones are definitely baggier all around. The cargo pockets are more than I want. I preferred the 5th pocket like you find on jeans and the small side pocket on the left leg where the fabric was double-layered. The color selection is worse. And I was going to return them because of the crease down the outside of each leg that wouldn't wash out. I eventually got an iron and flattened it from both the outside and inside of the pant. But it took a lot of work. I'm not even sure if it's supposed to be there or not, but it's like a sideways pleated dress slack almost. And finally, the material isn't quite as heavy or nice feeling as the original Capacitor Flex Canvas Work Pant. But it looks like they stopped making those in favor of these. Which sucks because those were my go-to casual/farm work pant from Fall - Spring.

Excellent Fabric and Design but Very Loose Fit
    Dec 7, 2023

These pants appear to be well made and excellent fabric, something I wanted to use when doing volunteer trail work. However, they feature a very loose (baggy) fit in the thighs. All other aspects of the fit and design were perfect, but I returned them because of the fit.

    Bring back the original
    Jan 4, 2025

Big disappointment when I realized that they had changed the design of these pants. I've worn out several pairs of the originals after tons of use and absolutely love them. Everything about these new ones are a disappointment. The hand pockets are now slack style not Jean style, everything falls out/ look weird. Carrying a knife there is a hassle too Especially since the original knife pocket was eliminated. Can't say I'm excited about the cargo pockets either. One phone pocket on the leg would be great( I've added one to an older pair). The fabric seems thinner and the legs are really poofy. I don't know if all these changes are for fashion or not but they definitely are not my all time favorite every day pant they used to be, Major bummer. Bring back the originals PLEASE!

vertical pockets spill everything in them out onto the shop floor when youre under a piece of equipment. If doing actual work is your thing, dont get these unless you dont use your pockets. desk pants
