This coat is super nice. A nice winter coat and you can still look nice

I have one of the older style Bulman Creek coats, and I love it. I have used it for trips to Europe, and it is a versatile jacket (especially with layering under the jacket). I purchased this newer jacket because it has so many pockets (you can never have enough pockets for passports, travel papers, etc.), and the styling. This Bulman is styled more like an overcoat, with a stand-up collar. The material is the same blend as the older version; however, the older one's tag indicated that it was coated with water repellent. Hopefully, this one will shed some showers as well. I typically wear a size 40, and the small seems to be true to this size. This coat is a very nice jacket, and I would recommend it.

I purchased the Redwood color, I live in Wisconsin and wanted the Northwoods color with a slightly more upscale fit and style, I think this coat really fits the bill. I am 6ft tall and 170 pounds and the size medium works perfectly. The sleeves have plenty of length, the coat has a trim tailored look without being tight anywhere. The picture of the back of the coat that you see online is not accurate, the coat is not loose and baggy with the look of thin flimsy cloth. The coat has a nice thick material that is thicker with more substance than I thought it would have, and it's heavier than I thought it would be. The liner is thin so I won't wear the coat if it is less than 20 degrees outside which isn't a big deal, I didn't buy it for super cold temps. If there is any negative thing to mention it is the amount of polyester mixed with the wool, I knew it before I bought it so I waited until it went on sale. The full price of the coat was what I would have expected from a 100% wool coat but maybe that is just me, I am a big fan of wool and I think it adds a bit of class and makes the coat stand out amongst the sea of black puffer jackets.

This is an awesome coat! I got it for Christmas and wear it whenever I have the chance. It fits perfectly. I generally wear an XXL so I was given an XXL for Christmas, and it fits just right. I got the Dark Charcoal Heather. It's a beautiful coat and so fun to wear! It can also easily be tailored, should I lose weight. For someone who is cold often, you might need a vest or sweater underneath it for true cold weather. However, if you are someone who is warm all of the time (like me), it is the perfect weight for winter. My whole closet is Eddie Bauer, this is just another purchase I am super pleased with!

Bought this for my son. He hasn't worn it yet so not weather tested. Although fully lined its not gonna be super warm. Probably for colder, snowy months, a suit jacket or sweater would be needed. Perfect though for in and out of car, office, restaurant, etc.

Great stylish coat, very versatile piece that can be worn fall and winter. Needs a vest underneath in the winter, but I don't mind as I prefer driving in warm vests. Great roomy pockets for gloves, scarves, your keys and phone. Excellent buy!!

This is a beautiful men's coat! You can easily dress it up or looks fantastic with jeans. This was a Christmas gift to my husband and he loves it! I chose the black color. I highly recommend this coat!

I bought this coat for my partner. He wears a large and has long arms--- this large fits him well. Especially important---the sleeves are long enough. Choice of zipper or buttons is great--or both together. He would prefer smaller buttons but I like the style. A great coat at a sale price.

This was a gift for my son. He likes it, says it is sufficiently warm for his travels in Ireland, and not so bulky like others he's tried.

Great coat, even for a big guy the fit is perfect to step up your game and keep a nice look going, even in the cold, without sacrificing warmth.

Extremely warm. This is warmer than my 100% wool peacoat which is twice the thickness of this jacket. Lots of nice pockets and I get compliments on the lining. The buttons are secured with a smaller button on the reverse which you can't see in the pictures. I throw this on for almost everything now.

Likes the coat but had to return because it was just too large. I followed the sizing chart but it was way off.

Insulation and warmth claims are greatly overstated. Luckily, I was forewarned by buyers' reviews and so bought the coat for 60% off on clearance, making it well worth the price I paid. It's a handsome coat that will keep one warm down to zero degrees Fahrenheit ONLY if you get it in a size large enough to permit a good layering of clothing underneath, e.g., thermal underwear, flannel shirt and a thick wool sweater.
